Policy Research

Conducting empirical policy research related to the legal and ethical use of AI systems.

⩘   Our policy research

Separate from the technical challenges of AI systems, there are a number of policy challenges that must be addressed to ensure that AI systems are developed and used in ways that are legal, ethical, and sustainable.

We are committed to conducting empirical policy research related to the legal and ethical use of AI systems. This research is designed to help regulators, developers, and users better understand policy assumptions and implications related to AI systems, and to provide evidence that can be used to ultimately inform policy decisions.
